German whaler Alexander Barclay visited Honolulu, Hawaii according to the newspaper The Polynesian dated 3 April 1847

An item reported the arrival at Honolulu, Hawaii on 30 March by the German whaler Alexander Barclay from Bremen 50 barrels sperm oil. Her master went sick from board and was to recover although it was suspected that could go back on short notice.
