Shares in Dutch whaler Vredenhof for sale at auction at Amsterdam, Netherlands in 1735

Auction at Nieuwezyds Heeren Logement, Haarlemmerdyk, Amsterdam on Monday 7 March 1735 after the Boomklok stopped of 2-1/16 shares in the fluyt Vredenhof en whaling equipment, commandeur Former Hendriksz Neeft. (1) Built in 1714. Bound for Davis Strait. Directors Leendert and Pieter Scheltes. Dimensions 114 1/11 x 28 1/11 x 12 8/11 x 6 611 (deck) foot. Sold for ƒ 1,016 and 1,031 to Cornelis Maten.

1. Davis Strait commandeur 1724-1757, in 1735 for Leendert and Pieter Scheltes, Amsterdam 4 whales 170 barrels blubber.
