American merchant cargo ship design VC2-S-AP2 (Victory) in 1946

Steel built, full scantling, raked stem and cruiser stern. Accommodation 4x2 staterooms. Deep tanks located abreast of and up to the top of the shaft alley in the holds No.s 4 and 5. Dimensions 455.3 (over all) x 62.0 (molded) x 38.0 (molded depth) x 28.6 (load draught molded) feet, deadweight 10,800 tons , gross tonnage 7,600 tons , net tonnage 4,600 tons and bale cubic capacity 453,000 cubic feet. The amidships located turbine propulsion with normal shippower of  6,000 shp allowed a speed of 15.3 knots. Accommodation for 8 passengers,4 state rooms. Prewar domestic cost 1.958,000 US dollars, domestic war cost 2,511,877 US dollars, unadjusted statutory sales price 979,000 US dollars and floor price 879.157 US dollars.
