Dimensions 623.6 (over all) x 68.0 (molded) x 39.3 (molded depth) x 30.2 (load draught molded) feet, deadweight 16,580 tons, gross tonnage 10,460 tons, net tonnage 7,340 tons and bale capacity 140,000 cubic feet. The turbo-electric propulsion supplied 10,000 shp normal allowing a speed of 16knots.
