The British naval force in the Baltic according to the Weekly Intelligence Summary No. 3 dated 22 January 1921

An item reported that the British warships in the Baltic consisted of the light cruiser HMS Castor (SNO) (1) and the destroyers Walrus (2) and Wryneck. (3) The Castor an Walrus departed from Copenhagen, Denmark on 21 January towards Danzig, Poland to be present when the new High Commissioner general Haking (4) would arrive there on 24 January. The SNO Baltic was ordered to go from there to Libau [Lipaja, Latvia] if the ice and other conditions would allow that

1. C-class Cambrian sub-class light cruiser, preceded by Arethusa-class, succeeded by Danae-class, laid down by Cammell Laird, Birkenhead, England on 28 October 1914, launched on 28 July 1915, completed and commissioned in November 1915. decommissioned in May 1935 and sold to be broken up on 30 July 1936.

2. Admiralty W-class destroyer, succeeded by S and Parker classes, preceded by Thornycroft type destroyer leaders Ambuscade and Amazon. Building ordered in December 1916, laid down by Fairfield Shipbuilding and Engineering Company, Govan, Scotland in February 1917, launched on 27 December 1917, completed in 1918, decommissioned on 30 November 1932 and sold to be broken up on 5 March 1938 which was done in October 1938.

3. Admiralty W-class destroyer, succeeded by S and Parker classes, preceded by Thornycroft type destroyer leaders Ambuscade and Amazon. Building ordered under the 10th Order of the 1916-1917 Programme on 16 December 1916,laid down by Palmers Shipbuilding and Iron Company, Jarrow in April 1917, launched on 13 May 1918, completed on 11 November 1918 and sunk in a German air attack in the Aegean Sea north of Crete, Greece on 27 April 1941.
