Small merchant shipping losses during Japanese air attack on Ceylon according to the U.S. Joint Intelligence Committee. Daily summary dated 7 April 1942

An item reported that during the Japanese attack on Colombo on 5 April the loss in shipping was small mainly because the harbour of ships excluded the ones loading or unloading or under repair.
