Aged British battleship used as target according to the Dutch newspaper Soerabaijasch handelsblad dated 2 December 1907

An item dated London, England 1st reported that the British battleships HMS Dominion, Hibernia, Triumph and Vengeance used an aged battleship as target. The target was stationed in a fighting position and which a crew consisting of dummies. The exercise was held off the coast of Kent with a shooting range of 6-8 kilometres. Of the 130 shots were just 28 hits according to the crews of the ships. The target was destroyed within seconds.
