The brig William Galt with mining equipment towards Haiti according to the Nederlandsche Staatscourant dated 29 October 1825

London, 25 October. Last Thursday left the brig William Galt the Thames towards Falmouth and to depart from there towards Port-au-Prince. The brig had a cargo of tolls and engines for the gold and silver mining permitted by president Boyer of Haiti to the Haitian company. At Falmouth with come on board a so-called metals essasayeur, 2 captains and accompany of mine-workers.
