Dutch naval movements in the Dutch East Indies according to the Nederlandsche Staatscourant dated 17 August 1852

Batavia, 11 June. The steamship Zr. Ms. Hekla (1) investigated in the end of May securely the coast of Krawang after reports of pirate activity. There were no suspected vessels found. The schooner Zr. Ms. Aruba made a voyage between 7 February-29 May from Macassar via Saleijer Strait towards Boeton and via the North towards Ternate, Kema, Gorontalo and Menado while returning at Batavia. She was busy with survey activities and to search for pirates along the coast of Menado after reports of pirate activity. There were no suspected vessels found.
