According to tidings from Constantinople dated 29 May departed the sultan 25 May Constantinople on board of the steam frigate Esseri Djedid to visit Nikomedie, Brussa, the Dardanelles and the island Mitylene. He was accompanied by over 600 men on board of other steamships.
