Dutch Fokker float plane D XXI or D 21 impression in the 1930’s


The drawing represents her if she was converted into a float plane. 

Designed as an inceptor of enemy aircraft and designed for the Dutch ML-KNIL (Air Force-Dutch East Indies Army) which however choose for American airplanes. The air force group of the Dutch army bought however some planes of which the first was commissioned in 1938 but with a stronger engine then original planned. Finland and Denmark built each several planes in licence. The armament consisted of 2-7.9mm machineguns in each wing one and in the nose another 2-7.9mm guns machineguns. Speed 430 (cruising-460 (maximum) kilometres. Range 930 metres and service ceiling 11.350 metres.
