Dutch whaler Vrouw Jacoba sold at Amsterdam, Netherlands on Monday 18 October 1773

This fluytship was sold on Monday 18 October 1773 in the Nieuwezyds Heeren Logement at Amsterdam. Dimensions in Amsterdam foot 113 x 28’4’x 12’7”, height verdeck 6’9” and S 9’2”. Last commandeur was Roelofs Olfers Meeuw.(1) Prize 4,800, subcharge ƒ 700, not sold.

1. Van Sante mentioned a Roelof Olphertsz Meeuw commandeur on a Greenland whaler for directors Arnold Hooghart en Zoonen of Amsterdam in 1773 with as results 3 whales, 130 barrels of whale blubber and 167 quardelen train oil.
