yard number 379. Gross tonnage 2.763 tons, summer deadweight 3.370 tons and as
dimensions 74,71 x 17,4 x 6,80
metres. Diesel-electric ice-breaker of the Kahru-class. {roperty
of the Federal German government but chartered to Finnish government [Board of
Navigation]. Renamed in May 1998
in Asklipios, Panamanian-flagged, Greece-owned, IMO
6603517 and callsign 3FLW8. On 25 May 1998 totally destroyed by fire and
abandoned by her crew. She was to be converted into a hospital ship. Her wreck
still exists of the shore at Kelibia, Tunisia.
