The Egyptian, Swedish and Russian navies in the Mediterranean according to the Nederlandsche Staatscourant dated 16 June 1827

Frankfurt, 9 June. From Sweden arrived tidings that there some ships were fitted out and according to rumours destined to join the Russian squadron which was fitted out at Kroonstadt for the Mediterranean.

Paris, 12 June. Tidings from Marseille dated 4 June reported that the brig le Sauveur, built at Saint Tropez, captured a fine 18-gun corvette belonging to the Pasha and send to Napoli-di-Romania. It’s believed that the le Sauveur is identical with the brig la Lionne built here last year.
