In the Prussian official government newspaper were tidings dated Constantinople 26 May published dealing with the fight between the Turkish fleet and 4 Russian warships. In this ‘fight’ the Russian 36-gun frigate Raphaël was captured and brought to Bujukdere where the sultan in person sighted her.
