HMS Cherub captured Spanish slaver Joseph according to the Nederlandsche Staatscourant dated 8 September 1818

According to latter from Kingston departed the Cherub 21 May from Africa and hold the Spanish 4-gun ship Joseph of Puerto Rico with on board 35 slaves and which were brought to Kingston. Last Tuesday arrived at Portsmouth the frigate Semiramis with on board the body of the passed sir James Teo.
