The Japanese naval shipbuilding program according to the Dutch newspaper Het Vaderland: staat- en letterkundig nieuwsblad morning edition dated 12 September 1933

As a result of the meetings between the Navy department and the general staff was decided that according to the new naval shipbuilding program 42 warships were to be build. The program was within short time to be handed over to the cabinet.
