London, 18 March. At Chatham were all efforts done to fir tout the 120-gun ship of the line Prince Regent (1) which was to be one of the biggest British warship and to be launched mid April. The guard ships were to be fitted out numbered 10 ships of the line including 2 of 120 and 1 of 108 guns.

1. After 8 years being on stocks finally launched 12 April 1823 at the Chatham dockyard, rebuilt later as a screw steam ship of the line and broken up in 1873. Had original a builders measurement of 2,613 tons and as dimensions 205’ x 54’.
