Greeks captured Turkish merchant ships off Galatz according to the Nederlandsche Staatscourant dated 25 April 1821

Warsaw, 5 April. According to the local newspaper captured the Greeks near Galatz 13 Turkish merchant ships while the crews were partly killed and partly taken prisoner. The value of the capture was just 200,000 piasters.
