Rome, 3 April. The Algerian privateers were not the only one who harassed the Italian merchant trade shipping. Privateers from Tripoli also plundered the waters of Rome and Tuscany. The latter had men on board which were able to speak the languages of the countries of which ships they plundered just like using the flags of these countries.
