Spanish privateer Amor de la Patria captured by the British sloop Reindeer 13 September 1807

According to a letter dated 13 September 1807, written by S.W. Inglefield commanding the Bacchante, was the Spanish schooner privateer Amor de la Patria captured by the British sloop Reindeer 13 September 1807. The Spanish privateer was noticed at 11.00 a.m. and captured after a chase at 13.30. She was commanded by captain Josse de Tournecy, of St. Jago, armed with 3 guns and a crew of 63 men, left her homeport 5 days earlier but didn't make any prizes yet. The letter was written while the Bacchante was at Yallalis Point.
