British fleet program according to the Dutch newspaper De Tribune dated 16 July 1936

An item dated London 15 July reported that according to the naval correspondent of the British newspaper Daily Telegraph wrote the naval shipbuilding and other industry 50% more activities numbered as in 1935 as a result op the fleet program. The fleet program for the years 1935-1936 included the building of 2 large battleships, 11 submarines, 34 destroyers and 12 gunboats with a total tonnage of about 250,000 tons, The industry at Sheffield received orders for manufacturing 300 guns and 30,000 tons plates of armour on behalf of the new warships.
