Danish naval strength of the Danish navy in 1806 according to the Dutch newspaper Ommelander Courant dated 25 September 1807
According to an original list consisted the Royal Danish navy in June 1806 of 20 ships of the line (3-80, 10-74, 2-72, 1-68, 2-64, 2-62), 16 frigates (1-42, 2-40, 2-38, 1-36, 1-34, 1-30, 1-28, 1-24, 3-20m 3-12), 19 brigs of 14-20 guns, 1-10 gun schooner, 17 so-called Royal boats of 6-12 guns, 8 Sollings or pilot boats of 2-6 guns, 12 gunboats of 6-10 guns, 6-6 gun chaloupes, 5 gun yawls with 1 gun and 4 howitzers and a floating defence consisting of 4 gun barges, the floating battery No. 1 of 24 guns, the unsinkable frigate of 16 guns and the 22-gun defence frigate. Further more was the fixed defence of Copenhagen including the battery Prevestenen of 89 guns (24 pdrs) which had as fundament 3 sunk and razed ships of the line.
