Ron van Maanen
A catamaran of which the building was allowed in the FY96 programme. Launched on 5 September 1997 at the shipyard NKK at Tsunumi to replace a similar vessel with the same name and pennant and commissioned on 24 December of the same year. With a displacement of 280 (normal) tons are her dimensions 35 x 12,2 x 2,7 metres or 114,8 x 40 x 8,9 metres. The two diesels supplies 4,000 hp allowing a speed of 14 knots. Her crew numbers 15 men.
