Patrol craft Tobias Hainyeko of Namibia (1979) 1993->


Of the Osprey FV 710 class was she build as the Danish Havørnen at the Fredrikshavn Vaerft and firstly commissioned in July 1979, donated end 1993 by Denmark although still with some Danish sailors manned and decommissioned on 15 December a year later. With a displacement of 505 (full load) tons, a gross tonnage of 652,41 tons and net tonnage of 195,72 tons are her dimensions 49,98 x 10,51 x 2,8-3.94 metres or 164 x 34,5 x 9 feet. The 2 Burmeister & Wain Alpha 16V32L diesels supplies 4,640 hp allowing as peed of 20 knots and with a speed of 15 knots a range of 15 knots. Her crew numbers 15 man to be joined by another 20. Apparently not armed. Fitted out with a helicopter deck suitable for a Lynx helicopter and able to launch a so-called RIB thanks to the available slipway in the stern.

Her official no. as part of the Namibian coast guard and fishery protection is 1993LB 042 and her port of registry Lûderitz. Call sign V5TP.
