Russian ships fitted out at Kronstadt according to the Dutch newspaper Opregte Groninger Courant dated 1 May 1770

From Germany were tidings received that the Russian squadron fitted out at Kronstadt just existed of 6 ships and only suitable to support the force in the Mediterranean and supply it with soldiers, sailors, weapons and victuals not would depart for mid May caused by the ice in the Finnish Gulf.
