Turkish gunboat Ryadideria scuttled according to the Dutch newspaper Algemeen Handelsblad morning edition dated 5 October 1911

An item dated Vienna 4 October reported that according to tidings received from Constantinople the crew of the gunboat Ryadideria serving as coast guard vessel at Tripoli scuttled their vessel to prevent a capture by the Italian forces.
