Danish naval preparations according to the Dutch magazine Maandelyksche Nederlandsche Mercurius dated May 1759

A tiding from Copenhagen, Denmark reported that the squadron was anchored outside the harbour waiting to be provided. It consisted of the two ships of the line and one frigate already departed of ten ships of the line and five frigates. Commanding officer was vice admiral de Fontenay and his flagship the 70-gun Julia Maria.
