An item date Berlin 20 January reported that Turkish officers inspected old ships of the Norddeutscher Lloyd lying at Bremerhafen of they were suitable to be used as transports for the Turkish navy. The edition dated 25 January 1911 published an item date Berlin 24 January reporting that according to the newspapers a Turkish commission bought 2-5000 ton steamships of the Norddeutscher Lloyd.
