US Maritime Commission decomissioning ships according to the Dutch newspaper Het nieuws van den dag voor Nederlandsch-Indië dated 22 January 1921

The Maritime Commission in the USA ordered to withdraw 30 ships with a total tonnage of 180,000 tons from the actual service to be laid up in harbours along the Atlantic coast and the Gulf of Mexico.
