A tiding from Naples reported that two galleys of the Pope departed from Civita Vecchia fought with three Turkish chebecqs, destroying one and the other two taken back as prizes to Civita Vecchia. There were more as 100 Turkish prisoners of war, 28 iron guns and cash money in Turkish ducats with the value of 70.000 realen.
