The whaling of Sag Harbour according to the The New-York annual register of 1836

Arabella*, Telegraph*, Marcus and Panama owned by S.&N. Howell
American, Hannibal, Neptune and Ontario owned by S.&B. Hunting&Co.
Ann, Romulus and Daniel Webster with E. Mulford as agent.
Phoenix, Hudon and Columbia withLuther D. Cook as agent.
Xenophon*, Cadmus, Thames, Acasta and Thorn owned by Mulford&Sleight
Henry, Franklin* and the Camillus with as agent Charles T. Dering.
Triad and Delta both of Greenport near Sag Harbor with as agents H.&N. Corwin.

The ships indicated with an asterisk were employed in the Pacific Ocean.
