Dutch warships towards St. Domingo according to the Dutch newspaper Nederlandsche Staatscourant dated 11 July 1844

An item reported that the Dutch government at The Hague received tidings from Curacao dated until 26 June dealing with the sending of two Dutch warships to St.Domingo with letters for the new government over there persuading to protect Dutch inhabitants. First depart the schooner Transit and later the brig Zr. Mij. Pijl (1) after her arrival on 29 April. At St. Domingo was just a revolt ended.
