Russia building new timber freighters at Leningrad, Russia according to the Dutch newspaper De Tribune dated 14 July 1931

An item reported that at the Baltic shipyard at Leningrad recently four new large timber freighters with a displacement of each 6,500 tons were launched. One of the ships was renamed after the in 1924 by Estonians killed revolutionary Kingisepp.(1)

1. This must be Viktor Kingisepp (12 March 1888 Kaarma, Saaremaa, 4 May 1922 Talinn) arrested on 1 May 1922 by the Estonian Political Police accused of treason and executed. Led in November 1917 the Military-Revolutionary Committee.
