An item reported that the Soviet Union merchant navy was increased with a total tonnage of 1,140,000 tons for freighters and a total tonnage of 460,000 tons for tankers as a result of the sixth five years program. This new building was announced by admiral Nikolai Isatsjenkof of the Soviet Union.
