Problems on board of Austrian troop transport according to the Dutch newspaper Middelburgsche Courant dated Wednesday 15 February 1882

An item reported that Austria used the uprising in Herzegovina to test the strength of her army while the actions of the rebels seemed to be caused by a deliberate military planning. Using troops with different nationalities could give problems. A troop transport which arrived at Ragusa on last Friday was underway harassed by quarrels between Austrian-German and Austrian-Slavic soldiers.
