Sea tidings from Batavia, Dutch East Indies according to the Dutch newspaper Bataviasche koloniale courant dated 12 April 1811

The 6th departed the brig Baracuta with the four prizes to the West. Of the four prizes was one brig given back and which returned at Batavia.
The 8th departed the cartel ship, further more one of the British ship off Edam and anchoring next to one off the island Amsterdam.
The 9th arrived a ship coming from the West at the north side of the island Amsterdam. The ship still lying off Edam sailed to the South East to the corner of Krawang.
The 10th anchored the British ship Bucephalus in the Maronde but disappeared in the afternoon out of sight going the North. The last arrived ship anchored off the island Edam while towing 14 tjunia’s.
