Brazilian navy purchased four seized German ships according to the Dutch newspaper Algemeen Handelsblad dated 5 June 1917

An item dated Rio de Janeiro 3 June reported that four of the seized German ships were handed over to the navy to serve as transports. The remaining ships were added to the fleet of the Lloyd Brasileiro.
