Wrecks of Russian warships scuttled in 1918 salvaged according to the Dutch newspaper Algemeen Handelsblad dated 24 November 1938

An item dated Moscow 23 November reported that Russian divers succeeded after 67 days work to salvage two Russian warships sunk twenty years ago during the civil war. Each season were dozens of vessels salvaged by divers. There was plenty enough work while the main part of the Russian fleet was scuttled by their own crews in 1918 to prevent capture by the Germans.
