German tanker Olifer sunk according to the Dutch newspaper Nieuwe Tilburgsche Courant dated 30 January 1937

An item reported that the German petrol tanker Olifer was lost that night near Borkum. Just three men of her crew were saved by the passing Europa underway from New York, USA to Hamburg, Germany. It was suspected that the rest of the crew was killed.
