An item reported that the Russian Doema in har last meeting before Christmas approved the law regulating the escort of merchant ships by the navy in times of war. During the discussions was also spoken over the necessity that the law was also valid for the shipping companies and captains registered in Finnish ports. The cabinet was asked to complete the law in this manner as soon as possible.
