Belgian soldiers responsible for maintenance Belgian interned police vessels in Rotterdam, Netherlands according to the Dutch newspaper De Tijd dated 6 October 1915

An item reported that a day earlier twenty interned Belgian soldiers arrived at Rotterdam, Netherlands coming from the internment camp at Harderwijk, Netherlands. According to the newspaper Nieuwe Rotterdamsche Courant were they ordered to clean, paint and caulk six interned Belgian police vessels including a minelayer which were already lying for some months in the Achterhaven. The men slept and lived in a house in the Lage Westzeedijk owned by the town.
