Brazilian dredger Lauro Müller built at Slikkerveer, Netherlands according to the Dutch newspaper Algemeen Handelsblad dated 2 December 1894

An item dated Rotterdam 30 November reported the departure that day of the seaworthy dredger Lauro Müller using her own steam engines towards Santa Catharina. She was built for the Brazilian government by the shipyard of the firm A.F. Smulders at Utrecht/Slikkerveer. Her dimensions were 38 x 6 x 3 (hold) metres. Fitted out with a 170 ihp compound steam engine and 2 masts with rigging.
