British bark ship John Patterson bound for Surabaya, Dutch East Indies according to the Dutch newspaperAlgemeen Handelsblad dated 22 December 1880

An announcement reported that the fast iron built British bark ship John Patterson captain A. Fox would depart Rotterdam in the second half of January towards Surabaya.
