Coolidge approved selling government merchant ships according to the Dutch newspaper Het nieuws van den dag voor Nederlandsch-Indië dated 12 February 1919

An item dated Nauen 10 February referred to tidings from New York reporting that Coolidge approved the sale of 13 ships of the government merchant marine to private companies.(1)
