Henry Ford wanted to buy whole American merchant marine according to the Dutch newspaper Het nieuws van den dag voor Nederlandsch-Indië dated 16 May 1925

An item dated Nauen 14 May referred to the American newspaper Chicago Tribune reporting that Henry Ford intended to buy the complete American merchant fleet numbering around four hundred ships.(1)
