An item dated The Hague 16 April reported that in the afternoon a day earlier at the hipyard St. Jago in the Groote Bikkerstraat, Amsterdam shipbuilder Jan Nuveen launched the frigate ship Elize for Broen&Comp. captain A.F. Oosterloo for the Dutch East Indies trade.
