An announcement warned to give no credit to the crew of the American brig ship Elders Brewster captain E.P.H. Paty lying at Zierikzee while the captain was not (always) responsible and would pay. The newspaper Middelburgsche Courant dated 25 October published an announcement that this brig ship would sold on a public auction on Wednesday 31 October at 09.00 o’clock. She measured 166 77/95 tons.
