Polish transport Wilja transporting Polish troops to Danzig according to the Ducth newspaper Middelburgsche Courant dated 17 March 1933

An item reported that the Polish reinforcements for the Westerplatte at Danzig departed in the evening a day earlier at 22.45 oclock with the Polish transport Wilja.(1)

1. The newspaper Vlissingse Courant dated 13 July 1934 reported that she visited Amsterdam with the Polish submarines Wilk, Ryl and Zbik unofficially between 22 and 26 July. The edition dated 19 July confirmed this visit and that on board of her was commodore Placvski. She measured 8,400 tons. The ships anchored alongside the wharf of the Holland America Line. The edition dated 27 July reported the departed 10.30 oclock towards Copenhagen.
