Argentina seized gunboat of Uruguayan rebels according to the Dutch newspaper Algemeen Handelsblad dated 18 April 1897

An item dated Buenos Aires 17 April reported that the Uruguayan rebels captured a gunboat at Artigas and went to Zarate to embark an expedition corps. The Argentinean authorities however managed to get the gunboat back and seized her. She was not to be returned before the peace was restored.
